Santa Barbara County Fire is responding to a vegetation fire burning east of Santa Maria.
The fire broke out just after 6:20 p.m. and is burning 75 acres at a slow rate of spread.

The Twitchell Fire has burned 75 acres off White Rock Ln near the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County border.
No structures are threatened, according to fire officials.
Both air and ground resources are on scene.
CAL FIRE SLO is assisting.
