The Scorpion Fire, which broke out on Santa Cruz Island Sunday morning, is now more than 90 percent contained, according to the National Park Service.

The fire has burned an estimated 1,300 acres.

No structures are threatened or have been damaged and no injuries have been reported.

Firefighters from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department and the Interagency Hot Shot crew from Los Padres National Forest have left the island, but National Park Service firefighters remain on scene to make sure all hot spots are out.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
