A small fire broke out alongside northbound Highway 101 in Paso Robles on Friday afternoon.
It was first reported at 4:15 p.m. just north of the Highway 46 East exit.
The slow lane of traffic was closed for emergency vehicles.
Motorists should expect slow traffic and are urged to be cautious while driving through the area.
