Heaviest rain, wind still to come late Wednesday night and early Thursday

A cold storm bringing rain, snow and strong winds is still on its way.

The heaviest rain and snow is anticipated to fall Wednesday night to Thursday morning.

3-6 hours of moderate to heavy rain is expected during this time, a flood advisory has been issued through 8:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Snow levels have lowered even more to 2500-3000 ft in the Antelope Valley and our winter weather advisories are still in effect.

Most rain will be out of the area by 10 a.m. Thursday.

The strong winds coming with this storm have prompted several advisories, including a high surf advisory.

High surf is anticipated early Thursday and continues through Friday.

Wave heights during this time could be 10-14 ft with max sets to 16 ft.

High tide is anticipated to be 6.8 ft at 9 a.m.
