The heat is on its way - with places like San Luis Obispo reaching close to 90 degrees and Paso Robles hitting over 100 degrees by Friday.
Several areas are already warmer than Tuesday afternoon.
The heat won't last very long however, as a cold front is right behind this high pressure system coming in early next week.
The cold front could be enough to create some light rain next Monday night into Tuesday night.
The winds are still a factor Wednesday out on the water, with a small craft advisory on our outer waters lasting till Thursday morning.
Wind gusts the rest of the Thursday are looking to be below 15 mph.
As temperatures continue to increase, the fears of fire weather return.
Low winds might be favorable towards fires not spreading as quickly, but low relative humidities will still be dangerously low.
It's best to do your part in preventing fires from starting, especially in these dangerous conditions.
Stay safe out there.
