We're off to a windy start for the weekend. A wind advisory will go into effect at 6 p.m. for Santa Barbara County's south coast, mountains, and foothills. During this window, winds will range from 20 to 30 miles per hour with wind gusts up to 50 mph.

The consistent marine layer and fog continues Friday morning. The coastal and inland valleys will start to clear up by late morning, but the beaches could stay socked in through early afternoon.

Daytime highs for the coastal valleys will continue to range from the low 70s to the low 80s, while continue to stay close to the upper 80s and low 90s. Temperatures at the coast will be cooler, but favorable, and range from the mid-60s to low 70s.
