Shaw's Steakhouse remains open for business. It has opened a barbecue pit next door to the restaurant.
It is serving up barbecue tri-tip sandwiches with beans and strawberries or salad.
On Friday, they will serve clam chowder to customers. Last Saturday, the restaurant sold about 500 pounds of tri-tip.
"I really feel like its a return too something normalcy some what normalcy," Chad Reynolds, head chef, said. "A lot of uncertain times right now a lot of strange things happening. And just trying to get people back to some kind of happiness."
Shaw's will be serving food Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
