Gentle Touch Pet Training, a dog training facility in Arroyo Grande, is continuing to serve pet owners virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The positive reinforcement training facility has been operating on the central coast since 1999, according to Teah Anders, the owner of Gentle Touch Pet Training.
"We teach families how to live a happy life with their dog and understand their dog and work with their dog," said Anders.
The training facility teaches dogs and puppies various skills including manners, agility and housetraining.
Anders said the statewide stay-at-home mandate has been especially difficult for owners of puppies and dogs with behavioral issues, but she hopes to help them throughout the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
"Lucky for me, I have a husband that's very technically adept and knows what to do and I've been doing some seminars online with people through Zoom for about a year, so when this came up, we had to improve our system and figure out how to make it work," said Anders.
