Some breezy conditions today into this evening with yesterday's rain, hail and thunderstorm producer quickly moving out.
The weekend is here and one more weak weather feature has the chance to produce a few showers both Saturday and Sunday but many folks will only see a light shower and some will get no rain at all. Saturday actually will see some increasing clouds and as a result high temps won't be able to make much of a jump. There is an approaching trough Sunday and preceding it some upper level energy could produce a few later afternoon and early evening showers in the interior of SLO county and at higher elevations but generally light activity. Highs Saturday look to be in the 50s and lower 60s for most, warmer on the Southcoast in SB county.
Sunday the trough arrives, with a boundary moving across the area in the afternoon. That's the best chance most folks have for showers, I'd actually call the day variably cloudy. I think totals will be under .10" for those that see rainfall this weekend. The trough is done with the rain chances in the evening and next week looks dramatically warmer.
Broad NW flow aloft will prevail on Monday after the weak trough departs to the east. Skies will clear out and it will be a beautiful sunny day.
A ridge of high pressure dominates the weather next week. Sunny to party cloudy skies and temps in the 70s for most. There will be slight cooling on Wednesday, but not by much.
Other than this weekend, dry weather into early April.
