The second annual Day of Hope Car Show returned on Saturday; however, this year, there were double the cars.
There were two car shows on the Central Coast. One took place at the Mission Hope Cancer Center in Santa Maria, while another was held at Heritage Square Park in Arroyo Grande.
The car shows are part of the Dignity Health Mission Hope Cancer Center's 13th annual Day of Hope Cancer Fundraiser. The family-friendly event featured a showcase of classic and unique cars along with food, live music, and fun activities.
The annual Day of Hope is taking place on Wednesday, August 26th. Hundreds of volunteers will collect donations in exchange for a commemorative Day of Hope special edition Santa Maria Times newspaper.
