Children and their families had the opportunity to learn more about essential vehicles that serve the community on Saturday morning.
Meet the Machines was held at the Soto Sports Complex in Arroyo Grande. Some of the vehicles families got to see were fire trucks and garbage trucks. Aside from the hands-on experience, the event featured food trucks and a raffle.
Event organizers said the first 300 attendees received a free goodie bag.
