The Santa Maria-Bonita School District is asking for the public's help in naming a new elementary school.
It'll open in August 2020.
The deadline to submit possible names is Wednesday, February 5.
A committee will be formed to help evaluate the names and make recommendations to the SMBSD Board of Education, which will make the final decision.
The deadline to apply to serve on the committee is Tuesday, January 28. Members will be selected by lottery.
Forms to submit a potential school name and forms to apply to be a member of the naming committee can be found here.
Paper copies of the forms can also be picked up at the front desk of the district office at 708 South Miller Street.
