The City of Goleta is celebrating the renovation of a multi-purpose athletic field with a ribbon cutting Wednesday.
The new park, located on the corner of Hollister and Kellogg avenues, has a multi-purpose field, basketball court, handball court, concrete ping-pong table, bocce ball court, and a perimeter walking path.

The city broke ground on the $250,000 project on June 19, 2019.

The celebration is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 5679 Hollister Ave. Goleta residents are invited to come.
