Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are some of the events happening around the Central Coast:

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 17

Turkey Trot Fun Run
9 a.m.
Jim May Park, 809 Stanford Dr., Santa Maria
Get in shape for the Thanksgiving Day feast by taking part in a 5K run or one-mile fun run. Awards will be given to first and second place finishers in 12 age categories.

Hike to Point Sal Ridge
9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Point Sal Beach State Park, Brown Rd. Guadalupe
Celebrate National Take a Hike Day with the Dunes Center on a hike to the ridge overlooking Point Sal. The six-mile round-trip hike is considered “moderate.”
A $5 donation to the Dunes Center is encouraged.

Taco Day on Traffic Way
1-4 p.m.
Traffic Way, Downtown Atascadero
Eat your way down three blocks of Traffic Way with tacos from a half-dozen local vendors. The event also includes live music, crafts vendors, and a beer and cider garden.

Spanos Theatre, Performing Arts Center, San Luis Obispo
The Movement Arts Collective presents a contemporary ballet set to a recomposed score of Vivaldi’s classic Four Seasons.

Taste more than 40 beers from around Latin America and enjoy music, salsa dancing, and food. Proceeds benefit the creation of the Latin American Art Museum of Santa Barbara

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18

24th Annual Homeless Benefit Concert
3 p.m.
Mount Carmel Lutheran Church, 1701 Fredericks St., San Luis Obispo
The SLO County Band will perform music from Broadway and the movies, including ABBA, Sing, Moana, Porgy & Bess, Disney, Best of the West, plus a Sousa March.
A donation to Homeless Services of SLO is requested at the door.
