Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are some of the events happening around the Central Coast:

SATURDAY, JANUARY 12

Laguna Lake Hike with ECOSLO
8:30 a.m.
Laguna Lake Park, 504 Madonna Rd., San Luis Obispo
Led by a SLO Stewards docent, this 2.5-mile moderate hike will explore the flora and fauna surrounding Laguna Lake. Park at the end of Dalidio Drive by the dog park and bathrooms. The hike is expected to take approximately two hours. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water and a snack. (Hike may be canceled by rain.)

United Scooter Association ATown Throw Down
9 a.m.-5 p.m.
ATown Skatepark, 5493 Traffic Way, Atascadero
Watch as all levels of freestyle scooter riders compete for a top 20 spot in the upcoming Las Vegas competition.

Enjoy a free workout, take a gym tour or try a group fitness class. Kids activities will also be available.

Mariachi Los Camperos Concert
4 p.m.
Guadalupe City Hall Auditorium, 918 Obispo St., Guadalupe
¡Viva el Arte de Santa Bárbara!, UCSB Arts & Lectures and The Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center present Mariachi Los Camperos, one of the most renowned mariachi ensembles in the world widely recognized for its role in popularizing mariachi in the United States.

Backtrack A Capella Concert
7:30 p.m.
First United Methodist Church, 925 North F St., Lompoc
The Lompoc Concert Association presents Backtrack, an award-winning five-person vocal group based in New York City. Their repertoire includes covers of past and present pop music, original compositions, and classical and electronic music.

Arroyo Burro Beach Cleanup
10 a.m.-noon
Arroyo Burro Beach, 2981 Cliff Dr., Santa Barbara
Enjoy the beach while joining Explore Ecology at its monthly beach cleanup. Bring a bag, bucket and gloves.
