As part of National County Government Month, San Luis Obispo County is offering residents a look at how various departments operate.

Tours of the county fire stations in Arroyo Grande, Cayucos, Creston, and Paso Robles will be available on April 11.

On April 18, San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow and his team will present an overview of the local criminal justice system.

Pre-registration is required for these events. Click here to register.

Registration is already full for a tour of the Public Health Lab and a boat tour of Lopez Lake, scheduled for April 4 and April 20 respectively; however, names are still being accepted for a waitlist in case space opens up.

Other activities planned during National County Government Month include a talk by graphic novel author Jarrett J. Krosoczka at the San Luis Obispo Library on April 10 and the Outdoor Discover Festival and Lopez Lake 50th Anniversary Celebration on April 13. Click here for more information.
