Dancers with Ballet Theatre San Luis Obispo are presenting their spring performance this weekend.
“Voices Within” is comprised of four ballets and honors two local arts icons – dancer Gilbert Reed and composer Frederic Balazs.
“It’s just an honor to be in the arts and everybody that’s dancing knows that, and that’s what you’ll get. You’ll get that passion, that honor, that excellence, that we all take it so seriously and know that it’s a privilege to do something like this in this day in age,” said Theresa Slobodnik, Ballet Theatre San Luis Obispo Artistic Director.
There will be three performances – Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 14 at 2 p.m. All shows will be held at the performing company’s BlackBox Theatre located at 3566 S. Higuera Suite 207 in San Luis Obispo.
Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for students. Ticket sales will benefit the Ballet Theatre SLO Scholarship Fund. Click here to purchase tickets.
