Spring event featuring food, rides, entertainment returns to Lompoc this weekend

An annual spring event in Lompoc will return to Ryon Park this weekend.

Springfest includes carnival rides and games, food, vendors, games, a car show, motorcycle show and even a BBQ shoot out competition.

Gates for the festival open at 11 a.m. Friday, April 19. The carnival fun begins at 2:30 p.m. that day. There will be free all-day entertainment and Ghost in the Machine will take the stage from 6 to 8 p.m.

Lasting through Sunday, with an Easter egg hunt at 11:30 a.m. the final day, there will be plenty of activities for people to enjoy.

Carnival ride tickets are $1 each. Unlimited one-day ride wristbands are available for $25 before Friday or $30 at the carnival.
