Lights are illuminating San Luis Obispo’s Octagon Barn this holiday season.
A dedicated Land Conservancy volunteer was selected to flip the switch on the lights Monday evening since no formal event or gathering could take place due to the pandemic.
Built in 1906 to house and milk cows for the local dairy industry, the Land Conservancy says the Octagon Barn is one of just two eight-sided barns in California.
After 22 years of conservation and renovation efforts, the property reopened last year.
