The winners of KSBY's annual "Your Favorite Charity" contest were announced Thursday.
Local non-profits were nominated by members of the community, then a panel of judges narrowed down the nominees to 20 organizations, and the public was asked again to vote for their favorites.
This year's $10,000 grand prize winner is Woods Humane Society.
Four other organizations received $2,000 each:
- Assistance League of SLO County
- Point San Luis Lighthouse Keepers
- SLO Noor Foundation
- Family Care Network, Inc.
