Cooler temps develop and some showers are possible in the extended forecast

Another very nice day for the Central Coast and in fact temps this afternoon were even running a few degrees above yesterday's temps.

That ride of warming should end Thursday with marine clouds developing as onshore dominant flow returns. As a result temps will cool down.

There is a weak upper low that will slide thru the area on Friday. The issue with the system is that it lacks moisture to work with, so while some modeling shows showers it is hard to imagine much measurable rain would fall Friday. Some sprinkles or a few light showers wouldn't shock me but I think partly to mostly cloudy skies for most.

There is another impulse moving thru Monday and that has a better chance to produce measurable rainfall but right now looks like less than .25"

Some lingering showers possible Monday night into very early Tuesday before a ridge rapidly builds in from the west. This will result in much warmer temps Wednesday with highs in the 70s to around 80.
