A two car collision sends one person to the hospital Thursday night in Templeton.
The California Highway Patrol says the driver of a 2016 Ford Edge was traveling north on Highway 41 approaching Homestead when, for unknown reasons, he turned in front of an oncoming car, a 2009 Nissan Versa.
The driver of the Nissan, a 23-year-old woman from Atascadero, was transported to Sierra Vista by ambulance with a fractured femur, according to CHP.
The crash happened just before 7 p.m. The collision remains under investigation but CHP says impairment is not suspected as a cause.
