The Grover Beach Police Department reports that a "suspicious device" found in the area of Le Sage Drive and Highway 1 has been rendered safe by the bomb squad.
Roadways around the area, including the Grand Avenue entrance to the Oceano Dunes, were closed while police and the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Bomb Squad investigated the device.
By 2:26 p.m., the area was determined to be safe and roads were reopened.
