The Grover Beach Police department said a motorcycle officer was taken to a local hospital after a crash Monday.
GBPD said the officer was treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital.
According to GBPD, the crash is under investigation and all other involved parties remained on scene and cooperated. Police do not believe drugs and alcohol were involved.
In a press release, GBPD said "The Grover Beach Police Department would like to thank the community members who stopped to render aid and offer assistance to our officer."

A motorcycle officer was injured in a crash Monday afternoon in Grover Beach.
It happened at about 1:10 p.m. at the intersection of West Grand Avenue and South 4th Street.
Witnesses say the officer was taken away in an ambulance after fire and paramedics responded to the scene.
