An unlicensed driver was cited Thursday following a collision involving a child in Guadalupe.

It happened at around 6:36 a.m. at West Main/Highway 166 and Obispo Street.

Guadalupe Police Chief Michael Cash tells KSBY the child was taken to the hospital for observation but did not have visible signs of injury.

The driver was cited for speeding and driving without a license, Chief Cash said.
