CALSTAR held an informational training on emergency services in Templeton Wednesday.
They made quite an entrance by landing their helicopter on the Twin Cities Community Hospital's helipad.
CALSTAR trained staff on emergency services, when a patient needs to be transferred to or from the hospital.
CALSTAR has provided similar training at the Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, the county's only trauma center.
Crews want to ensure hospitals are ready to respond to any emergency that happens in San Luis Obispo County.
