The City of Paso Robles hosted a demonstration of its bike lanes associated with the Niblick Road plan.

The protected bike lane and crosswalk demonstration was designed to show residents how the Niblick Road plan would keep those traveling by bike or foot safe.

As stakeholders and local residents weigh in on the project, city officials will decide how to start the next steps of the plan.

“We are going to take all of that information, look at ideas like we are doing today with this pop up, and come up with a holistic plan for the corridor so that we can use that document in the future for that allocation of funds for different projects,” said David Athdy, city engineer for Paso Robles.

The City of Paso Robles is interested in public input about the corridor plan.

There will be a meeting Thursday night at City Hall where residents can comment about the proposal. It starts at 6 p.m.
