Tuesday night the Santa Maria City Council will consider an ordinance that would ban flavored tobacco products with in the city.
A group in Santa Maria proposed a ban back in July.
It's unclear if that's what prompted the city council to take a look at it.
The proposal came just as Santa Barbara county saw an increase in teenagers using vape products.
Santa Maria City Council will review the ordinance on Tuesday night.
