This morning the Central Coast was greeted with more low clouds and fog at the beaches and coastal valleys. Some cloud cover even got into some of the inland valleys. Clouds did back up to the beaches and some beaches have even seen partial clearing but the clouds will push in again this evening and overnight.
Interior valleys hit the low 90s today with coastal valleys in the mid-70s and most beaches hit the low 60s though a few lingered in the upper 50s at the water-line.
Very little chance in this forecast into Saturday.
The set-up is largely unchanged with the upper level jet in a ridge with surface high pressure off the coast and a heat-generated trough inland drawing in the marine layer to beaches.
Areas of some drizzle and mist are possible with the marine layer at the coast.
If you are looking for a pattern break it does appear an upper level low could tumble through the Pac NW into Califonia on Sunday-Tuesday for a cool break inland, temps could even return into the 70s before warming again later next week.
