A ridge of high pressure remains over The West and it'll drive another warm to hot inland day Tuesday before some slight cooling Wednesday.
Night through morning low clouds will be at the beaches and near coastal valleys, and may push further into valleys later in the week.
No big changes in the weather pattern through the week. High pressure over the southwest will remain in place. However, a slight increase in onshore flow each day through Thursday will likely cause daytime highs to cool off a degree or two. Marine layer clouds, which were confined to the Central Coast this
morning, should expand. The strong high aloft will keep any marine layer clouds shallow which means there is the potential for some dense fog through the late night and morning hours.
