The Veterans' non profit will be hosting a motorcycle ride this Sunday to support Toys For Tots.
All of the proceeds will go to children in the community. Participants that bring in an unwrapped toy can enjoy delicious free BBQ. The entry fee for the motorcycle ride is $15.00.
Ted Jackson, President of American Legion Riders Chapter 211 says, "the veterans are here to support the community and we want people to know we're here at American Legion chapter 211 riders, sons, auxillary all of us just want people to know that we're here to support our community."
Organizers say that last year's event brought in over 100 riders. This year the Legion is dedicating the memorial run to honor "Big George" who was a huge supporter of Toys for Tots.
The toys that are collected will be distributed to children in the area on December 14.
