A group of San Luis Obispo County residents is holding a march Tuesday to demand justice in San Luis Obispo County.

The march is set for 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. outside the San Luis Obisopo County Courthouse on Monterey Street.

Organizers say the March for Justice is focused on seven cases of injustice generated by local law enforcement, social workers, prosecutors and judges.

In response, San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow released a video Tuesday saying in part, "Our staff is using every resource we have at our disposal to ensure that justice is done in our community while respecting the rights of crime victims while simultaneously ensuring that the process is fair for the accused."

A quote on the YouTube video says, "The mission of the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney's Office is to bring justice and safety to our community by aggressively and fairly prosecuting crime and protecting the rights of crime victims. Listen to District Attorney Dow talk about this mission and how his office is serving the County of San Luis Obispo."
