The California murder trial of real estate heir Robert Durst is likely to move to a new venue this summer, depending on how a judge rules on a defense motion for a mistrial.
The Daily Breeze reports the case against the 77-year-old scion of a New York real estate dynasty is expected to move from Los Angeles to Inglewood in July.
The defense motion argues Durst cannot get a fair trial because of a long pause in the proceedings caused by the coronavirus.
Durst is on trial in the December 2000 killing of Susan Berman in her Beverly Hills home.
