MINDBODY HOSTED LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FOR 'HOUR OF CODE' EVENT
To celebrate Computer Science Education Week, MINDBODY [mindbodyonline.com] hosted 25 female students today from the Central Coast New Tech High School (Nipomo) for its first Hour of Code from its headquarters in San Luis Obispo.
Hour of Code is a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with 1-hour coding activities designed to demystify "code" and show that anyone can learn the basics. MINDBODY's event comprises of a campus tour, a ride down our indoor slide, an hour of coding curriculum, a luncheon, swag and completion certificates.
The goal of the event is to educate and inspire young students to consider careers in computer science.
