The mayor of Santa Maria is asking her citizens to cut down on water use in April for a chance to win some big prizes.
Mayor Alice Patino is joining mayors across the country who are taking steps to manage water resources and conserve water through the National Mayor’s Challenge for water conservation.
City officials shared the following video of Mayor Patino encouraging residents to join her in making the pledge.
If you take the pledge online to cut down on the amount of water you use, you’ll be entered to win up to $5,000 toward home utility bills and other prizes.
