The California Highway Patrol is hosting a free child passenger safety seat check-up this Saturday, April 7 in San Luis Obispo.
The CHP says four out of five child car seats are installed or adjusted incorrectly.
Certified technicians will be on hand Saturday to show parents how to properly install child safety seats and booster seats and to inspect seats that are already installed.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Target, located at 11990 Los Osos Valley Road.
