A computer system issue at the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) affected some customers at the San Luis Obispo field office on Monday.
DMV officials said the issue affected licensing and registration procedures at some, but not all, of its offices around the state.
By 3 p.m., DMV officials said the issue had been resolved and customers who had appointments earlier but were turned away were being contacted to either return to the office or make a new appointment.
