Humans and their furry sidekicks showed up to the Dinosaur Caves Park on Sunday for live bands, vendors, ‘Yappy Hour,’ and a silent auction.
The event,Pismo Pawfest, was held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The Pismo Pawfest funds go toward the Woods Humane Society and a big focus of the event is pet adoptions.
"So many people have Woods so dear and near to their hear, they have gotten dogs from them and they have amazing puppy stories to tell and they get emotional about it," said Sharyl Naftal, the event coordinator.
Local businesses also made donations to give to local pups in the silent auction.
