Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are some of the events happening around the Central Coast:

SATURDAY, APRIL 14

Atascadero City-Wide Yard Sale
8 a.m.-2 p.m.

More than 90 yard sales are registered. Some of the proceeds will benefit the construction of JOY Playground at Colony Park in Atascadero.

SATURDAY – SUNDAY

Central Coast Orchid Show and Sale
9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday
10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday
South County Regional Center, 800 W. Branch Street, Arroyo Grande
Orchids of all varieties will be on display and for sale. There will be lectures on growing orchids and orchid "doctors" on hand, plus books and potting materials for sale.
Tickets: $6, free for children 12 & under

Princess Weekend
10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Santa Barbara Zoo, 500 Niños Drive, Santa Barbara
Learn more about the zoo’s amphibians, meet and take pictures with princesses like Snow White and Sleeping Beauty, enjoy games, crafts, a "Kiss a Frog" booth, bounce house, and more. Children are encouraged to dress up as their favorite fairy tale characters.
Zoo admission: $18 for adults, $13 for seniors 65+, $10 for children ages 2-12; parking is $11.

SUNDAY, APRIL 15

SLO Record Swap Spring Vinyl Record Fair
11 a.m.-3 p.m.
San Luis Obispo Guild Hall, 2880 Broad Street
More than 20 vendors will have thousands of records for sale, along with music memorabilia and vintage audio gear. There will also be guest DJs, an outdoor food and beer court, and raffle.

Family Kite Festival
Noon-4 p.m.
Rotary Centennial Park, 2625 S. College Drive, Santa Maria
Enjoy kite flying, live music, food, and other vendors. Hundreds of colorful kites will fill the sky during the event, which also includes professional kite-flying demonstrations, contests and races.

Central Coast Rockfest
1-5 p.m.
Arroyo Grande High School stadium, 495 Valley Road
Enjoy an afternoon of music featuring local bands including Unfinished Business, Louie Ortega & Friends, and Simple Society, plus food and raffle prizes. Proceeds benefit the Evan Lalanne Medical Fund.
