Felony arrest warrant issued for Santa Maria robbery suspect

Police in Santa Maria are asking for the public’s help in locating a man they say is wanted in connection with a robbery investigation.

Santa Maria police say Miguel EstevanTovar, 21, is a resident there but has also been known to frequent Nipomo and Guadalupe. Police say he is considered armed and dangerous and anyone who sees him should call 911 immediately.

The police investigation began back in late January when an armed robbery occurred in the northwest area of Santa Maria. Police have not elaborated on the details of the crime but say their investigation led detectives to obtain a felony arrest warrant for EstevanTovar.
