Waller Park in Orcutt is back open after strong winds caused trees to come crashing down this week.

County parks officials tell KSBY two trees fell Wednesday. They say that because the trees were healthy, the park was closed as a safety precaution.

There were no reports of injuries, but fencing around the park’s pony ride area was damaged by one of the trees.

Crews could be seen cutting up one of the fallen trees Thursday.

Strong winds are expected throughout Santa Barbara County through Friday.
