A boy was airlifted from the Salinas Riverbed in Paso Robles over the weekend.
CAL FIRE reports the call came in just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Since a minor was involved, CAL FIRE says few details are known at this time.
They could not say if a vehicle was involved in the incident, but did say a California Highway Patrol helicopter landed in the riverbed and airlifted the boy to the hospital.
The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.
