A long-awaited multi-use building has finally been granted the go-ahead by the Atascadero City Council.

The La Plaza project will be built on an empty plot of land located on El Camino Real and Entrada avenue.

The building will include shops, restaurants, and apartments.

The project was approved unanimously by the Atascadero City Council and will now move into the construction planning phase, which could take up to six months.

La Plaza’s developers hope to break ground on the project around November.
