Man stabbed multiple times in Lompoc attack

An attack in Lompoc Friday night left a man with critical injuries after he was stabbed multiple times, according to Lompoc police, who say, at this time, there are no suspects.

Police say officers were dispatched to the 300 block of north M Street at about 8:43 p.m. to differing reports stating someone was being hit with a bat or cut with a knife.

Officers say within minutes they were able to locate the victim and used a tourniquet and seal patch to help save him.

He was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical, but "stable," condition, according to police.

No arrests have been made and the age and name of the stabbing victim have not been released.
