Warmer temps inland, less wind for the weekend

The Central Coast will see a pretty quiet weather pattern over the next several days. A ridge of high pressure will build Friday night along the West Coast. The ridge is probably not quite enough to keep low clouds away from the coastal areas but enough to generate decent warming inland and maybe a couple degrees at the coast.

Saturday and Sunday high temperatures will reach the low-mid 80s in San Luis Obispo North County and mid-high 70s in the coastal regions under clear and sunny skies.

Sunday night into Monday look like pretty solid marine layer days at least for coast and coastal valleys. The ridge weakens Saturday night and a trough will pass north of the area Sunday, this will deepen the marine layer with some mist and drizzle in the night and morning hours. Overall bringing cooler temperatures inland but still near to slightly above normal.
