Officials say the woman was uncooperative with fire fighters, so a Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Deputy was called in to help. She was eventually evaluated by Santa Barbara County Fire paramedics and taken to Cottage Hospital.
It’s unknown how the woman entered the ocean and officials were unable to say how far off shore the woman was found.
