The Santa Maria Groundwater Basin will be discussed Tuesday at the Arroyo Grande City Council meeting.
Officials have been remapping the basin to find out which areas are managed by local officials and which are managed by the state.
During Tuesday night’s meeting, council members will vote on whether to pass the re-written map.
The only area that is set to change is the Arroyo Grande Creek valley fringe area.
