California governor debate set for Sunday night

Candidates for California governor will face off at a debate Sunday ahead of the June 5 primary. 

The debate, titled "Extraordinary People on Common Ground" will be in Fresno Sunday night. 

KSBY will be live-streaming on air and online from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

The debate will shift Sunday’s regular KSBY newscast from 6 p.m. to 5 p.m. Nightly News will be at 4:30 p.m. 

This debate is just one in the election race. 

The final details on the candidates will be announced before the weekend. So far, California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom has said he won’t be participating in the debate.
