About 140 staff positions leaving Vandenberg Air Force Base

Officials have announced the Joint Force Space Component staff is leaving Vandenberg Air Force Vase.
     
Air Force staff say the team will be moving to Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado to be closer to the commander and National Space Defense Center.
     
The staff consists of about 140 people, made up of a mix of military and contract positions.
     
Officials say the move won’t impact Vandenberg’s mission as a critical west coast launch facility.
