A pickup truck caught on fire Saturday morning in Guadalupe.
Guadalupe Fire responded to a call about smoke in the area of Guadalupe and 12th streets around 10:14 a.m., only to find a truck fully engulfed in flames in the field, next to a riverbed.
The fire department posted photos to its Facebook page.
Fire crews say smoke could be seen around San Luis Obispo County.
Firefighters from Guadalupe Fire and CAL FIRE were able to quickly extinguish the flames before it could spread.
No word on where the driver was, and the cause of the fire has not been determined.
